Small tears to the top, bottom and edge of spine with fraying. Corners bumped. Slight soiling to cover. Soiling to edge of textblock. Uneven pages. Pages have white cloth tape going down the gutter. Thick quality paper. Clean crisp pages with fold out maps. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

Facsimile edn. 4to. Original gilt lettered maroon cloth (near Fine), dustwrapper (small tears at edges - in protective cover). Pp. 20 thereafter unpaginated, illus with b&w plates (ex medical library with usual markings; tape marks on endpapers).
