Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh has hailed as a model state in PDS and it has earned the praise of the union government and the Supreme Court which have ordered other states to follow its model in terms of management of PDS. The study aims to evaluate the polices, organisational structures and administration of the PDS in both the states.
