This is a fictional account of 'Raymond Douglas', a brilliant jazz musician from St Louis. Published by The Jazz Book Club, London, by arrangement with Methuen & Co. Ltd., London, 1964. First edition thus, but originally published by Sidgwick & Jackson Ltd.  A near fine yellow cloth hardback with printed title design to spine. A small spotted stain to rear cover. With a near fine original dustjacket, with spine and top edges just a little sunned. Dustjacket flap still has the membership slip attached. Covered in removable protective plastic. Soundly bound.
