Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. Special Limited Edition. Unique in the trade, this Special Limited Edition being copy #93. A cute little copy of an important book, and from the personal library of Gershon Legman and as sold to me by his widow, Judith Legman, daughter of the master printer and bookseller Henry Evans. Special Limited Edition by Maledicta, Inc., this volume being the inaugural publication. The volume is weird, featuring heretofore unpublished erotica and marriage advice by Mark Twain piece but greatly augmented by the literary and biographical commentary by Legman, who delves into the reasons why, at the end of his life, Twain became so embittered and despairing. Bound handsomely in green cloth, and with a fine likeness of said mammoth cod to front cover. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing some rubbing to extremities and wear along edges, not price-clipped. Literary sleuthing to the max by the folklorist and bibliographer of no little importance, Gershon Legman, who provides an Introduction here. 25, [1] pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
