Illustrated, catalog, with 397 items, representing a variety of industrial and household objects, a pioneering selection of early industrial designs produced in the 1920's, when aesthetics of 'machine art' were rising. This epochmaking exhibition in the MoMA in 1934 represented a range of industrial designs that were becoming mainstrain utensils later on in the 20th century. The catalog shows industrial units, household and office equipment, kitchenware, house furnishing and accessories, laboratory glass and porcelain etc. The catalog was reproduced on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the exhibition, for the original catalog has become very scarce.
