There is also a small stain near the lower right corner on the front. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Are no signatures or bookplates, no library markings etc. Pages are toned but clean although there is some foxing spots present around the illustration pages, this is due to the two types of paper reacting over time. The last page has a paragraph that explains the differences between the standard edition and the dramatic version, which accepts the happy ending of the final edition published in 1891 and how the story goes no further than the 12th chapter.
