It is a new binding which is very likely the same materials and colors that the original binding would have been, plain and durable. New white endpapers. Original text block complete and tight, title page dated 1824. 156 pages with generous margins. Some fading to pages, but nothing other than natural effects of age. Clean throughout. Scarce. Thackrah is best known for his work on the medicinal and health effects of the trades, but he was also a pioneer in other areas of public health.
