Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - The Larger Westminster Assembly With Proofs From the Scriptures presents the detailed theological work of the Westminster Assembly (1643-1652). This edition offers a comprehensive exposition of Reformed theology, including proof texts drawn directly from Scripture to support each point of doctrine. This assembly of theologians and parliamentarians sought to reform the Church of England and produced influential documents such as the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism, and the Shorter Catechism. This volume is an essential resource for students, pastors, and anyone interested in the historical development of Reformed theology and its foundational roots in biblical texts. The Larger Catechism delves into complex theological topics, providing a thorough understanding of doctrines related to God, humanity, salvation, and the church. Its enduring value lies in its systematic approach to understanding and articulating core Christian beliefs. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
