Front endpaper bears the name G.Huxley (Gervas Huxley, husband of the writer on Africa, Elspeth Huxley), and the date 1933. Binding sound, text clean. 218pp. 55 illustrations, plus frontispiece. 3 sketch maps plus a folding general map of Mount Kenya to rear of book. This was the first book to be written devoted to Mount Kenya which had been clibmbed around the time of publication by P.Wyn Harris, Mr E E Shipton and Mr G A Sommerfelt.
