There is some spotting around the edges of the text block, and some offsetting to endpapers; there is also a gift inscription (not from the author) on the ffep, but there are no markings in the text. The jacket is in fair condition only - rubbed, bumped, chipped and torn (along and across the spine), and with small loss of text on the rear panel from where a label has been removed.
