There is some spotting around the edges of the text block, and some offsetting to endpapers; there is also a gift inscription (not from the author) on the ffep, but there are no markings in the text. The jacket is in fair condition only - rubbed, bumped, chipped and torn (along and across the spine), and with small loss of text on the rear panel from where a label has been removed. The jacket is now in a removable protective cover.196 pages, including index. Size 20.7 x 14 x 2.1 cm. Black & white illustrations. The picture is of the actual book for sale.
