Harris' CABINET OF LILLIPUT series. Bondy notes the little stories were for older children, and "combine instruction with delight." The two stories contained here concern a sailor whose restless nature takes him on adventures around the world, though he ends up a prisoner in the Bastille; and of a boy who is sold into slavery in the "American Colonies" by an unscrupulous sea captain. A lovely survival with its original boards. 2.75'' x 2.5''. Original yellow boards, paper printed label on front board, rebacked in green leather gilt. Renewed marbled endpapers.
