In the original paper covered boards. Externally, a little worn, with some discolouration and age-toning to the front board and spine, rear board is sunned. Light bumping to the extremities. Rubbing to the extremities has resulted in a small amount of loss of paper and some lifting, including to the head of the front board, with a larger patch of loss of paper to the rear board. Some light marks to the boards and spine. Spine is rubbed, lacking backstrip to the head, with a small amount of lifting. Small cracks to the head and tail of the joints. Front hinge is starting but firm, rear hinge is a little strained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Tidemark to the head of the plates. Good. book.

Ink inscriptions to the paste downs, and to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small tide mark to the tail of the front endpaper and title page.
