With a Portrait from a drawing by the Marchioness of Granby. Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree (17 December 1852 2 July 1917) was an English actor and theatre manager. Tree began performing in the 1870s. By 1887, he was managing the Haymarket Theatre, winning praise for adventurous programming and lavish productions, and starring in many of its productions. In a paper binding with paper label to the spine in original glassine wrap. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Dustwrapper is sound with slight rubbing, and some chips and closed tears to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Very Good. book.
