It assesses the impact of extension education on the knowledge adoption and productivity of two different groups of farmers in the same agro climatic zone. Moreover chapters on principles and methods of adult education and system approach to capacity building would be helpful to the trainers to conduct training programmes effectively while the chapter on extension education in different Five Year Plans would be helpful to identify the emphasis to be laid on various aspects of extension education for agricultural development and future researches to be carried out in extension education.
