Notenblatt. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - 1967 nahmen die Beatles in den Abbey Road Studios With A Little Help From My Friends auf.

Vintage oversize borderless reference photograph of Paul McCartney from the 1965 film. Richard Lester's auteur take on the Fab Four propelled United Artists far into the black at a time when most of the aging Hollywood executives had never even heard of the Beatles. As with "A Hard Day's Night" the year before, a wonderful intersection of pop, youthful innocence, culture shift, and legend-making. Shot on location in London, Middlesex, Merseyside, and Wiltshire, England, and in Salzburg, Austria. From the archive of the PIX Agency, an American photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969. 7.75 x 11.75 inches, archivally matted in a 14 x 18 inch 8-ply mat. Near Fine.

In den Warenkorb[Recorded music] Long-playing record. 1965 pressing, with matrices ending -2/-2, issued in mono with black labels printed in yellow and silver, in front-laminated flipback sleeve. 'Gramophone Co.' rim text. Cover is is gently worn with a few half-moon creases, short seam split to top edge. Record has been carefully played, showing a few light marks, some hairlines and some fingerprints/fingernail scuffs. No deep or feelable scratches. Housed in plain paper EMI 'Patents Applied For' company inner sleeve. Play tested using a lightweight pickup, this runs through superbly with some light background noise/crackle. No needle sticks or jumps/skips. Very good indeed. The fifth studio album by the Beatles, with side one featuring songs from the soundtrack to their film of the same name. During the recording sessions the band continued to explore the studio's multitracking capabilities to layer their sound, and introduced orchestration (strings on 'Yesterday', and a flute section on 'You've Got to Hide Your Love Away'), which became a signature feature of their later albums. Help! is the first Beatles album on which drugs made a significant impact, Bob Dylan having introduced them to cannabis in 1964, which they smoked habitually while making the film Help! They also encountered LSD (acid) early in 1965. Despite a huge number of copies being pressed and sold, very few have survived in good shape given the nature of the teenage audience and the quality of record players and portables that were used! Decent copies such as this are now uncommon.
