Red underlining under sentences on five of the pages is probably from a reader. The lettering on the spine strip is nearly illegible. The spine strip's edges have spots of color loss from shelf wear. The pages are darkly tanned. One page has a wrinkled corner and a 1/4 in. chip. The next page has a horizontal 2 1/2 in. closed tear that is tipped back together with glue.
