Erstausgabe
Printed wrappers. Zustand: Very Good +. First Edition. 14 lovely hand-colored, full-page prints of various locations within the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. Each plate crisp and near-pristine to pristine, and each, mounted along its recto, umiformly measures 9 3/4" wide x 6" tall. The string-tied portfolio itself, an oblong folio, has held up very well. Solid and VG to VG+ in its off-white, card wrappers. Just a bit of light soiling and creasing to the rear panel, tender, neat inscription at the top of the title page. The hand-coloring within the plates, used to dramatic, very pleasing effect here, was overseen by American Colortype Company of Chicago and New York.
