Paper Cover. Zustand: Good. An original complete issue of The PENNY MAGAZINE of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. A weekly 8 page publication. Famous for its woodcut illustrations and articles of topographical, architectural, scientific, biographical, natural history, etc interest. In the title I have listed articles and/or pics of interest in this issue. In some issues there is also part of a serialised classic, fiction or poem - which I have not listed. Being an antique journal it may contain some light occasional foxing or age discolouration, but having spent most of its life loosely bound into a book it is unfolded & generally in nice clean condition. Despatch will be in a boardback envelope.
