Pictorial Hard Cover. Zustand: Good. 2nd Edition. ISBN 0960039440. On the front endpaper, the author wrote an inscription, with a date 1991, and signed, John Travis. He also signed on an ad for another title, Let's Tune Up. The publisher states on the inside of the front board, ".the tuning profession may be guided to seek new horizons of perfection in the scaling and restringing of pianos." Part I has 8 chapters and the first 110 pages of the book. This section is mostly text, but includes b/w photos and figures. Part II is titled A Guide to Restringing, which has 4/5 th of the book's content. It has charts for the strings for different brands of pianos. A light stain is on the front margin of the front pastedown. A faint stain is on the bottom half of the front margin of the back pastedown. The back free endpaper has a 1/8 in. and a linear 7/8 in. stain. The foredge has a 1 1/8 in. x 3/8 in. stain. The back board has 1 1/2 in., Y-shaped scratch. Scans e-mailed upon request.
