The titling is dulled on the spine, there is a bookplate and short ownership inscription to the front endpapers, and some light spotting of the endpapers; overall, this book is in good condition.

Seventh edition. xx, 196 pp, 12 map, 24 plans; publisher's red cloth gilt, slightly bumped at edges, lettering dull on spine, original blue printed dust-wrapper; a very good copy. Very scarce in dust-wrapper. The first edition of this title was published with Palestine in 1901. This edition is a reprint of the sixth in 1916. It is very unusual to find copies with dust-wrappers.

Fourth edition, 1907, of guide originally published in 1901. Small octavo, pp xvi, 177 + 14 pages of commercial adverts at rear. Bound in red cloth covered rigid covers, gilt to spine and upper cover. Eleven maps, of which five are folding, and 24 plans, mainly of tombs and temples. In Very Good condition, binding solid, clean inside, spine faded and a little worn at the top.
