Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: No Dust Jacket. Likely First Edition dated 1886 on the title page with matching dates. Bound in blue cloth with gilded titles and textblock edges. The binding shows moderate shelf and edge wear. Cartoon plates are bright. The contents show some spots to text and the endpapers have a few paper glued spots and scuffs. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. The Mercantile Library stamp/number and some penciling are on the title page and some of the internal pages.
