The dedication copy of Porter's third collection of poetry, inscribed in the dedication page, 'in admiration + affection, Peter NF Porter June 25th., 1969.' The dedicatee was the Scottish poet and novelist George Mann Macbeth. Loosely inserted is an ALS dated Wednesday 25th June, 'Dear George, Here is your dedicatee's copy of my book.
