The response was tremendous, and from the first 14 Forum articles came the book Fly Tying Development and Progress. A section on the history of the fish hook and the development of fly-tying is followed by articles on specific aspects of fly-tying: Jungle cock eyes, hair hackles and fur bodies, tandem lures, parachute hackles, hair wings, fluorescent materials and tube flies. .
