Hardback. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. First edition. 1st 1938. Almost very good condition in a dustwrapper in fair condition. Pale cloth with red titles and vignette. Fold-out illustration to front. B/w diagrams and photos. Foxing to spine and cover edges. Browning and foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is torn in half at rear spine join, so is in two pieces, with loss; surface paper damage also. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Blue cloth-covered boards, dark blue titles on front and spine. 12mo. Bottom corners bleached, rubbed corners and spine ends, cocked. Text block edges tanning. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some loss, closed tears, shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage.   Special illustrations: Folding plate of the Supermarine Spitfire and 2 page plates of the De Havilland Albatross Transport, Airspeed Oxford and Fairey Battle Medium Bomber.
