Hardback. Zustand: Good. Selected as a Caldecott Honor Book in 1977, andnow back in print for the first time in a decade, this is a charming picture book about a grandmother and her simple, idyllic daily routine. Fish for Supper is M.B. Goffstein imbued her children's books with her personality - editor Susan Barba reflects that Goffstein "found the right art form, the right structure and patterning, to distill her life experience [.] she managed to compress an entire philosophy into a single line - or two lines rather, the line of the drawing and the line of the text." Her skillful combination of story and image earned her a Caldecott Honor in 1977 for FISH FOR SUPPER, among other accolades. 6'' x 7''. Original orange cloth boards. Original unclipped ($4.95) color pictorial dust jacket. Illustrated in black and white. [32] pages. Jacket with mild edgewear, a bit of sunning to spine. Sharp.…
