This volume contains plates depicting Buddhist, Jaina, and Brahmanical forms of sculptural art. The book begins with a depiction of forms of Buddha and bodhisattvas (Avalokiteshvara, Tara [Ushnisha], Manjushri, Prajnaparamita, etc.), Shiva (Bhairava, Gangadhara, Nataraja, etc.), Devi (Durga, etc.), Vishnu (Balakrishna, Narasimha, etc.), and depiction of Jaina Tirthankaras, Trimurti, and Brahma.
