Fine but for some trivial dusting to the upper edge of the text block; in original blue and turquoise printed jacket, lightly soiled and darkened on spine, still Very Good or better. Laid-in is the scarce original 4-pp prospectus, with testimonials from a variety of critics and newspapers. Toomer's second book. An undetermined number of copies (we have never seen one numbered above 500) were numbered and issued at the time of publication; a few of these were signed, though the signature is not called for. An unsold remainder of copies was discovered some time in the early 200's, and these have steadily appeared on the market in fine, fresh (but unnumbered) condition.
