XVIII en todas sus clases, desde las fragatas hasta las poderosas naves de 80 cañones, se dan detalles de operatividad como los cálculos de la elevación en las baterias en acción, las pruebas de restistencia de las naves, etc. Frontis y portada con viñeta grabada reforzada de antiguo, LV páginas, 420 páginas, 2 hojas. Ilustrado con 19 láminas de grabados desplegables (de 24, falto de la 1, 2, 6, 18 y 21), 27 tablas (pág. no numerada, con las piezas empleadas en los astilleros, y 9 viñetas grabadas encabezando cada capitulo. Encuadernación de la época en plena piel, con nervios, hierros dorados y tejuelo en el lomo, ligeramente rozada. Completo de texto. 26x19,5 cm.
