In Westmoreland, Cumberland, Durham, & Northumberland.Illustrated from original drawings by Thomas Allom with historical and topographical descriptions by Thomas Rose.With thirty-five monochrome plates depicting landscape views.Thomas Allom was an English artist and topographical illustrator of the nineteenth century. He was very well travelled and his illustrations were used for this purpose in guidebooks. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, there is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some wear to the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some spotting throughout. Good. book.

The prefaceindicates this is the third volume, however, the list of illustrationsdo not match.
