The document describes the fourteen studies, explaining how the should be understood integrally as a single work in 14 parts not 14 independent works. It goes onto explain how Boyle created the works, featuring a detailed quote from Boyle taken from Journey to the Surface of the Earth, in which he explains the objective of the work to examine the effect of the elemental forces on the site and the specificity of the site of Camber Sands Beach. 2). Newspaper clipping (newspaper unknown). 285 x 106mm. Entitled 'Digging for Victory of British Art' featuring a photo and quotes from the artist. 3).Newspaper clipping (newspaper unknown). 94 x 73mm . Featuring a photo of Boyle and a short description of Boyle's upcoming ICA show "Journey to the Surface of the Earth". Both newspaper clippings were bought in London at the time of the exhibition.
