Altkolorierter Kupferstich aus dem zweisprachigen Werk: Bilderbuch für Kinder (franz.: Portefeuille des Enfans) von Friedrich Johann Justin Bertuch (1747-1822), erschienen in 12 Bänden in Weimar zwischen 1792 und 1830. Die vorliegende Tafel erschien als No. 41. des 2. Bandes des Werkes. Da das Gesamtwerk inkl. der Illustrationen sowohl in Erscheinungsreihenfolge als auch nach Sachgebieten angeordnet werden konnte, trägt die Tafel zugleich die Nummer XIX der Rubrik: Fische . - Wir haben einige hundert Tafeln des Werkes vorrätig, sie sind sämtliche generell in sehr gutem Zustand. Dennoch können hin und wieder etwas Textabklatsch oder Bräunungen vorkommen - wo dies der Fall ist, sollte es in der Regel auf den Abbildungen, die wir zu allen Tafeln bereitstellen, erkennbar sein. Die oft sehr aufschlußreichen Tafelbeschreibungen (jeweils auf Deutsch und Französisch) werden im gedruckten Orginal mitgeliefert.
