Ein sehr schön erhaltenes Exemplar. Vgl. Wellcome II, 389 (andere Auflagen) und Garrison/Morton 5585 (zur Ausg. 1809): 'His great dictionary went through seven editions during his lifetime and was translated into French, German and Italian.' - Seltener gewordener Klassiker unter den medizinischen Wörterbüchern. 'The dictionary became Cooper's most wellknown work. Many of the entries were lengthy and Cooper took special care to refer to other works which could provide additional information on a paritcular topic' (Heirs of Hippocrates (1990) 1359 zur Ausg.
