Zustand: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 311 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth boards with lettering. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpaper, pastedowns and half title page. Front free endpaper is missing. Pencil markings to back free endpaper. Hinges are moderately cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Book has a slight forward lean. Visible wear marks to boards.

Hard Cover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: very good. Bright orange cloth lettered in black. N.D. (circa 1948). Another tale of espionage and suspense featuring the master spy known as "The Man With The Twisted Face". A tight, bright copy, two tiny snags at the foot of the spine, offsetting to the endpapers. In the scarce dust wrapper, orange printed in black, very good with some shallow wear and very small chips at the tips.
