Hardcover. Zustand: Poor - Cash. Very Heavy wear to cover, corners and edges, exposes the boards. Title fading on the front cover, title was done in gold gilt. Has soiling on the front cover, fading to the edges, rubbing and fraying to spine. Has soiling to cover and pages, with creases. There is a crack on the inside of front cover, showing the webbing on the top edge. FFEP has been torn out, leaving a remnant. There is a tear on the bottom of the title page near the spine. Soiling to pages and some notations in the margins. Pages 107 & 108 have been ripped out, and only half of page 109 remains. Page 73-74 has a tear on the bottom corner. Pages 75-86 have chipping to the pages, some pages are coming loose from the spine, pages 83-84 has a tear on the bottom part of the page. First edition. 116pp. Duodecimo [18 cm] Red cloth over boards, with decorative blind stamped borders on the boards, and the title in faded black on the front board. One half of rear board with a darker shade of red. Small numerical label on front board. Endpapers cracked along the hinges. "Property of the L.D.S. Sunday School, Park City, Utah" ink stamp on front pastedown. A couple of pages with very small open tears to the edges, and one page with a small amount of staining. Though not officially part of the 'Faith Promoting Series' this volume looks very similar to the series, and is designed for the same purpose, the instruction of the youth. Flake/Draper 1547.…
