This trade publication of Finlay's early conventional verse appeared following his emergence as a force in the genre of Concrete Poetry -- the poems collected here had been distributed previously in mimeograph form. Fine in a slightly marked jacket.

First Edition. 22 x 18cm. Poor condition paperback, 35pp. Missing one of the two woodcuts by Zeljko Kujundzic. Title page reads: "a Migrant Pamphlet, Autumn 1960". Printed on brittle paper, exacerbated by exposure to damp at some point. Strictly a reading copy only. Edges heavily chipped and stained, with many closed tears throughout. Lacking one woodcut, and cover heavily discoloured. Fragile and compromised.

Pages show light sunning at outer edges, covers show light traces of age, but really quite a nice copy of this scarce first book of poems by the grand ihf who kept the moon polished all his life.
