He was a stretcher bearer in London in WW2 and probably unjustifiably detained under Reg 18B (the Mosley detention) as of 'hostile origin'. Daisy's diaries record her reminiscences in the vanished world od European aristocracy till 1914. Plates. 312 pages. Quoted postage for UK 2nd class. Overseas at least £12.05.
