No Jacket. 1st Edition. 73p - a rare index to the 1/2500 maps (25.34 miles to the inch) covering the Parish of Melrose in the County of Roxburgh, containing 26058.286 Acres also the Parish of Earlston (Detached) in the County of Berwick containing .024 acres. There is a folding index map, a 2p key and 73p of listings of the area numbered on individual maps with a description of each plot (Rough pasture, road, wood, foreshore, ruins and etc) with the area of each). Good condition bound in stiff orange leather with gilt titling on front cover. No significant marks or signatures but aged with rubbing pf the covers but binding sound and all complete. Bit toned, minimal foxing of endpapers. See scans.
