Mankowitz's entire black and white Rolling Stones archive is reproduced for the first time as 12" x 6" contact sheets. So determined was Mankowitz that the images would remain exclusive that the edition was… capped at 950 and the plates destroyed after printing. The book is accompanied by a silk-screened linen tester magnifying glass to enhance the experience of viewing the contact sheets. Oblong quarto. With 3,000 photographic illustrations. Original black boards silk-screened in silver, cover and spine lettered in white. Spiral-bound within, red acetate title page. Housed in publisher's box. Some scuffs to publisher's box: overall, a near-fine copy.
