This edition appeared as part of Gaspero Barbèra's series of key economics textbooks, "Manuali Barbera di scienze giuridiche sociali e politiche"; Barbèra had previously championed authors such as Bartolomeo Trinci and Carlo Fontanelli. "The most important point in the Trattato di sociologia generale is its study of inductive inferences, of the legomenon, which Pareto wanted to account for in terms of the logic of the senses.
