Color pictorial priced ($2.50) DUST WRAPPER with wear to the head and tail of spine and to flap fold corners, a small chip to upper edge of front panel, several short closed margin tears and light soiling for what is a really nice example of the rare, original dust wrapper. Illustrations depict "the circus . . . with its parade, its lions and tigers and camels and elephants, and all the clowns and acrobats of its three rings . . . In short, Mr. Smith has gathered here all the wonderful circus-things that ever sent a thrill down a boy's back and made him do stunts in the backyard for a month afterward." Wow, and what exactly is there not to like about that description? The condition of the book is NEAR FINE. The condition of the dust wrapper is VERY GOOD. A SCARCE title; RARE in the dust wrapper.
