At the bottom left a magnificent title cartouche with a water god, putti and four coats of arms of Trier, Mainz, Cologne and the Palatinate.

Altkolorierter Kupferstich von Johann Baptist Homann, Nürnberg, 1930. Mit Titelkartusche und Meilenzeiger. Erschien in: Homann's Grossem Atlas und im Atlas Scholasticus ex Triginta Sex Generalibus et Specialibus. Maße Blatt: 61,5 x 50,5 cm. Blatt aus 2 Teilen zusammen gesetzt, mittig mit horizontaler Klebespur, rückseitig hinterlegt. Äußere Blattkanten leicht gebräunt, wenig fleckig. Blattrückseite wasserfleckig, rundherum mit braunem Nassklebeband (aus früherer Montage), handschriftliche Anmerkungen mit Bleistift, ein kleines Wort von alter Hand in Tinte. Guter bis sehr guter Zustand. Coloured copper etching by Johann Baptist Homann, Nuremberg 1730. With miles indicator and title cartouche. Sheet size: 61.5 x 50.5 cm. Sheet composed of 2 pieces, glued horizontally, backed with a paper stripe. Outer margins of the sheet lightly darkened, rarely spotted. Backside waterstained, brown wet adhesive tape all around the margins (due to former mounting), handwritten notes with pencil, one word with ink. Nearly fine condition.
