The story's setting is a mail-order business. The top end of the text block is brick orange. The front board has a 1 in. x 1/2 in. faint stain. The front endpaper has an owner's name. The back endpaper has two, linear 1 in. stains. DJ has 15 closed tears, 1/8 in. to 2 1/4 in., and 18 chips, 1/8 in. to 1 1/8 in. One margin of the front flap is darkened and wrinkled.
