No Binding. Zustand: Good. Harvard University catalogue - list of graduates - 1785. No covers. No binding. Folded pages only. Edges untrimmed and therefore uneven, as it came from the printer. Unpaginated. There are 34 pages, although the final leaf is mostly missing (it contains the final tally of graduates and student names from 1784 and 1785). Measures 6 x 9.25 inches. A list of every Harvard degree, beginning with Benjamin Woodbridge in 1642. Of particular interest is the Honorary Degree issued to Benjamin Franklin in 1753, the first such degree issued by Harvard. The next (also listed here) was to George Washington in 1776. Also included here are John Adams, John Hancock and LaFayette. A wonderful and scarce 18th century imprint. Folded in its original 5 signatures, but with split creases on a page or two. Please email with questions or to request photos.
