Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper, mostly erased. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches. Boards have some moderate edg…e wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Mildly dust-marked overall. A few liquid droplet marks. Heavier wear to lower edges with some small splits and fraying of cloth. Book has a slight forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear: small tears, chips, and creasing. Slightly rubbed and marked overall. Slight water staining to rear flap. Jacket is in a transparent sleeve.
