Half Calf. Zustand: Very Good. Book measures 28.5x22.5.cm. 264pp, circa 134 ful page plates, plus supplementary series, 126,[2]pp, plus 60 plates, many partially coloured. Plates not bound in order. Bound in modern half calf, calf corners, cloth boards, gilt bands, leather labels, full gilt edges, marble endpapers. Binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, some offsetting, light persistant spotting, browning, about 5 pages stained on top left-hand corner. Pages and plates in good condition. A very good well bound copy. F Size: Quarto.

Some foxing - worst on 1st 25 pages & a light stain on last few pages. About 10 of the plates have childish writing or drawing in pencil or crayon on the blank verso. One page of text has some pencil scribbles. All 182 plates are present (as called for) and the vast majority in good clean condition. Ideal as a referemce copy or for rebind.
