The catalog outlines, completely and thoroughly, their fan system, its benefits, installation, and mechanics. The orange paper cover has two hole punches, for binder rings, and is in good condition with only light bumping to the spine and edges. The inside pages are clean without markings or spots. There are library stamps to the cover dated 1950, and a library pencil mark of 1920. The sections covered include public buildings, industrial plants, buffalo apparatus, and relation of velocity to pressure. There are many photographs and charts within.

Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. A vintage softcover trade catalog by the Buffalo Forge Company, 115 pages. Very good condition. Stapled binding. Red paper wraps with the title and company logo at the front cover. This catalog has been glued into brown paper wraps (see photo). Printed in black and white on thick, slick paper with many illustrations, tables, graphs and diagrams throughout. With one fold-out graph on a thinner paper between pages 16 and 17. No publication date given. "697.92" in lead pencil and "Buffalo Forge Co." in black ink at the front cover of the brown paper wraps. "697.92" in blue ink and toning to the front cover. "DEC 7 1920" stamp to the upper right corner of the front cover. Otherwise, pages are clean and free of writing. The binding is tight and strong, with no loose pages. A thoroughly descriptive catalog on the use of Buffalo Fans to heat, ventilate and humidify. In four sections entitled "Public Buildings," "Industrial Plants," "Buffalo Apparatus," and a section of technical information from the "Fan Engineering" hand book. Each of these sections includes information on the application and installation of Buffalo Forge Company fans in different types of buildings (among them hospitals, libraries, plants, schools, churches, department stores and theatres). Each of these sections includes many different illustrations as well. Section Three, "Buffalo Apparatus" includes entries for different types of fans, among them the "Planoidal (Type L)" fans," "Turbo Conoidal Fans," "Buffalo Baby Conoidal Fans," "Disc Fans (Type D)," "The Carrier Air Washer and Humidifier," and "The Buffalo Standard Heater." Each of these entries includes a description and at least one illustration. Tables of specifications for the included products are included at the rear of this catalog as well.

Soft cover. Zustand: Good. From the Buffalo Forge Company, catalog no. 198, the buffalo fan system of heating and ventilating. The 6 by 9 inch softcover is 143 pages and in good condition. The catalog is comprised of descriptions of varying systems available with illustrations, schematics, and charts within. The pink and red cover has gold lettering to the front. The cover is sun faded, has bumped corners and tears to the foot and crown of spine. There is a library call sticker to the front corner and two holes, presumably for binder rings. The title page is stamped for the smithsonian libraries and dated 1969. The inside pages are clean and without markings or wear. There is very light water staining to the edge of the last ten pages, not affecting text. The following parts are included, part I, heating and ventilating of public buildings, part II, heating and ventilating of industrial buildings, part III buffalo heating and ventilating apparatus, and part IV data on heating and ventilating.
