Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. First edition. Disbound. 176pp. Foxing on title page, else very good or better. Bishop Henry Treadwell Onderdonk's copy with his ownership signature twice, one of which is dated in 1816. Onderdonk was one of the most controversial figures in Episcopal history, with his suspension by the Church for improper conduct with women, but fueled at least in part for his supposed sympathy to Roman Catholicism, still being debated to this day.
