Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. Clean and firmly bound faded blue cloth boards with a couple of small bumps on the lower front edge, old signature of former owner on the title page, foxing on a few pages. Jacket is present in fair condition with some small tears and creases, also a little loss from the base of the spine. The second impression of the first edition published the same year.

Some uneven fading to cover edges. Rust marks from staples to front pastedown and endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Old compliments slip stapled to front flap of wrapper - now showing rust marks. Wrapper has some tears and chips; minimal loss, as tears have been repaired to verso with brown paper tape. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
