Adams, the Director of the Clements Library. One issue is to Jimmy Hays and the rest are to Mary Hays. Mary Campbell Hays, wife to James Griffith Hays, was the daughter of Edward DeMille Campbell, distinguished professor of chemistry at the University of Michigan. Her grandfather was James Valentine Campbell, the first Dean of the University of Michigan Law School. A total of five items, sold as a lot only.
