A limited edition of 430 copies were printed on hand-made paper of which 350 were for sale in the United Kingdom, 50 for sale in the United States of America and 30 were for gifts.…This specific book was number 143. The book is in very good condition given its a hundred years old. Normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. The black board corners are slightly worn as are the ends of the spine, please see photos. All eight coloured plates are intact, along with their tissue guard papers. 93 pages all intact, all pages, text and illustrations are in really good, clean readable order. Printed in Great Britain by Richard Clay & Sons Limited, Bungay, Suffolk. What a lovely book, which in my humble opinion should be cherished for future generations, the perfect book for all music and opera lovers.
